Goshukan Reachout is the Non Profit division of Goshukan Karate South Africa.

Goshukan Reachout focuses on skills, talent and physical development as well as social upliftment, by giving back to the community and helping the underpriveledged children and adults of South Africa change their stars.

Reachout currently has over approx 3000 underprivileged kids of all ages training in areas all over the Western Cape and Gauteng including, Athlone, Westlake, Tokai, Surrey, Dunoon, Imizamu Yethu, Retreat, Mfuleni, Acacia Park, Goodwood, Thembisa, East Rand and more. All these kids train free of charge. We have countless calls and requests for more studios in the underprivileged areas and are trying to raise the funds to make this possible.

Together with the schools in the communities Goshukan strives to instill, discipline, honour, dignity and respect into these students equipping them with valuable lifesaving street survival and self-defence skills. We also offer them a sport career that can see them competing in the National Protea Team as they represent South Africa at international events. With Karate becoming an Olympic sport in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, these kids can have a real opportunity to live thier dreams.

We even, more recently, offer job opportunities as fitness and karate instructors who will, in turn, get a salary to teach other, younger underprivileged kids.
